These Terms of Service ("Agreement") govern the legal relationship between individuals and legal entities ("User", "You") who use the Parantaj financial management platform ("Platform", "Service") and the company operating the Platform ("Parantaj", "We").
By registering on the Platform or using the Service, you declare that you have read, understood, and accepted all provisions of this Agreement.
1. Definitions
- Platform: Parantaj web application and all related digital services
- User: Any individual or legal entity registered on the Platform and using the Service
- Account: Personal account created by the User to access the Platform
- Content: All data and information uploaded to the Platform by the User
- Subscription: Service plan providing access to paid features of the Platform
2. Scope of Service
Parantaj offers the following services to businesses and individuals:
- Income and expense tracking
- Financial account (bank, cash, credit card) management
- Category-based financial reporting
- Multi-user and authorization system
- Data export and reporting
3. Membership and Account Security
3.1. Registration Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to register on the Platform.
- Information provided during registration must be accurate, current, and complete.
- Individuals registering on behalf of legal entities represent that they have the authority to do so.
3.2. Account Security
- You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and not sharing it with third parties.
- You are responsible for all activities performed on your account.
- You must notify us immediately if you detect unauthorized access to your account.
- We strongly recommend using two-factor authentication (2FA).
4. Usage Rules
4.1. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Agreement.
4.2. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Using the Platform for illegal activities
- Entering false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Actions that compromise Platform security
- Attempting to access other users' data without authorization
- Using automated systems that damage Platform infrastructure
- Uploading content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Money laundering or terrorism financing activities
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1. Subscription Plans
- The Platform offers free and paid plans.
- Prices for paid plans are clearly stated on the Platform.
- All prices include VAT (unless otherwise stated).
5.2. Payment Terms
- Payments are collected monthly or annually according to the selected plan.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
- Payment transactions are processed through secure payment infrastructure.
5.3. Cancellation and Refunds
- You can cancel your subscription at any time.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Under EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the right of withdrawal for digital content services ends once the service performance has begun with your prior consent.
- Partial refunds for unused periods are not provided.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. Platform Intellectual Property
The design, software, logo, content, and all components of the Platform are the intellectual property of Parantaj. These rights are protected under Turkish Intellectual Property Law and international agreements including the Berne Convention.
6.2. User Content
You retain intellectual property rights to content you upload to the Platform. However, you grant us the necessary license to use the Platform.
7. Data and Privacy
The processing of your personal data is detailed in our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you also accept the Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. Service Warranty
- The Platform is provided "as is".
- We do not guarantee that the service will operate without interruption or error.
- Planned maintenance work is announced in advance.
8.2. Liability Limits
- You are responsible for the accuracy of financial data you enter on the Platform.
- The Platform does not provide accounting or financial advisory services.
- Parantaj cannot be held responsible for your financial decisions.
- Parantaj's liability is limited to the subscription fee you paid in the last 12 months.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
9.1. Termination by User
You can close your account at any time. Account closure requests are processed at the end of the current subscription period.
9.2. Termination by Parantaj
We may suspend or terminate your account in the following situations:
- Violation of this Agreement
- Suspicion of illegal activity
- Failure to fulfill payment obligations
- Behavior threatening Platform security
10. Changes
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Significant changes will be notified by email. Continuing to use the Platform after changes means you accept the new terms.
11. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
- This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
- For disputes, Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction.
- For EU residents, disputes may also be resolved through the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/odr) or local consumer protection authorities.
